QAD to occupy last remaining floor at Clive House, Limerick

Power Property is pleased to confirm that their client Fine Grain Property has leased a new 10,000 sq. feet. work space to its client QAD at Clive House, Plassey, Limerick. QAD is a leading integrated business software company. Fine Grain is delivering an end to end, bespoke work space solution for QAD, allowing QAD to focus on their growing business.



The occupation of the new office at Clive House will bring 100% occupancy, to over 140,000 sq. feet of office accommodation in Plassey owned by Fine Grain Property. Fine Grain Property is currently developing Hawthorn House, which will bring an additional 55,000 sq. ft. office work space, designed to a LEED Gold sustainability standard.



Declan O’Connor, Property Director of Fine Grain commented “To meet the strong demand from Business Leaders for great work spaces in Limerick, Fine Grain is developing a new state of the art office building ‘Hawthorn House’, which will be ready for occupation in September 2019. This brings the total investment by Fine Grain in Limerick to more than €35 million with a total area of c. 200,000 sq. ft. and is a testament to the supportive and collaborative environment created by progressive stakeholders including Business Leadership, Limerick City and County Council, the IDA and the University of Limerick.”



The National Technological Park (’NTP’) in Plassey continues to be validated as a centre of excellence with continuing significant foreign direct investment and indigenous job creation. Some of Limerick’s largest companies including Vistakon (Johnson & Johnson), Northern Trust, Xperi, and Cook Medical are located at Plassey.



The National Technology Park at Plassey is proving itself as a go-to location for the med-tech sector with Edwards Lifesciences recent announcement to invest €80m in a 600 job facility at Plassey.



In relation to the QAD letting, Aoife Murray, Fine Grain’s Portfolio Manager, said:
